The Insights of the U.S. – Africa Leaders’ Summit

Aug 22, 2014

The U.S.- Africa Leaders Summit, the largest event any U.S. President has held with African Heads of State and Government, will build on the Presidents trip to Africa in the summer of 2013 and it will strengthen ties between the United States and one of the worlds most dynamic and fastest growing regions.

Heads of State and Government from the African Nation are flying in to Washington D.C. for the event; so, what does it take to transport the leaders of Africa to the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit comfortably and safely?

At Icarus Jet we believe it takes attention to detail and due diligence to our passengers to assure a satisfying arrival to what is a very busy and congested airport.

Flying the leaders of Africa to Andrews Air Force Base was not an easy task. There are not the regular amenities such as transportation to the hotel, aircraft cleaning services or catering; but with Icarus Jet anything is possible. Each aircraft carried between 10-50 passengers and we made sure that all passengers and aircraft were taken care of in due time with all requests met.

Reaching as far as Washington Dulles for services we were able to arrange limo services through Reston Limousine (703-478-0500) and first-class catering services from Rudy’s In-flight Catering (703-378-1882) for the departure on the 7th, but our services didn’t begin there.
