Q: How are awards earned?

For every trip that you buy Icarus Trip Support and Jet A, the Icarus Rewards generates one $50 reward for each Pilot (Contract crew are not eligible).

Q: Can I give my reward to someone else?

No, these rewards are not to be bartered, sold or gifted. They are to only be used by the flight department to which they were issued.

Q: How long does it take for a reward to be avaliable?

Valid rewards will show as validated immediately. Rewards will fund to your account within 3 business days. However, your account and card will not be funded until $200 worth of awards are earned for the current year.

Q: Do the Icarus rewards expire?

No,Icarus rewards don't expire.

Q: Does my Amex card expire?

Yes. Your American Express card will be valid 5 years from the date issued

Q: If I have problems or questions about my American Express card - including the card balance - who do i call ?

Q: Why do I have to provide my SSN? what will you do with it?

This information is required by American Express in order to issue a card

Q: Do I need to pay taxes on my Icarus rewards?

You will be assessed taxes for annual income of $600 and more. A 1099 will only be issued if you meet the $600 income level
