Cleared to Operate,
Anywhere.
Icarus Jet has completed more than 5,259 flights across 3,000 airports without a single safety incident. ARGUS-registered, running 24/7 from Dallas, Dubai and London. Whether you are chartering an aircraft or clearing your own, the same desk handles it.

Which side are you on?
You need a flight
You are booking travel and want the right aircraft for the routing, priced clearly, with someone accountable from quote to landing.
Private jet charterYou operate the aircraft
You are a flight department or operator and need permits, handling, fuel and planning coordinated leg by leg, without markup games.

Aircraft, sourced to the mission
Private Jet Charter
On-demand aircraft from a vetted operator network rather than a single fleet, so the aircraft is matched to the routing instead of the routing being bent to fit an aircraft. 30+ jet types, from very light jets on short regional hops to large-cabin aircraft crossing oceans. See private jet charter.
Helicopter Charter
Island transfers, city hops and point-to-point flights where a runway is not an option. Strongest in Greece and the Cyclades, Italy from Naples to Capri, the French Riviera and Kenya. Nine helicopter types, including twin-engine aircraft for extended over-water sectors. See helicopter charter.
Group Charter
Regional jets and narrow-body airliners for sports teams, corporate movements, film crews and delegations. From a thirty-seat ERJ-135 to a hundred-plus-seat A319, configured VIP, all-economy or mixed depending on what the group actually needs. See group charter.
Medical and Air Ambulance
Medical transfers and air ambulance missions on both fixed-wing and helicopter, including repatriation and time-critical transfers where the aircraft, the medical team and the ground clearances all have to line up at once. See medical and air ambulance.
Operations
For crews and flight departments
Trip Support
Flight planning, overflight and landing permits, ground handling, crew arrangements, flight watch and catering, coordinated leg by leg. A flat fee per leg by aircraft category with zero markup on ground handling, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay. See trip support.
Fuel Service
Contract and into-plane fuel arranged as part of the trip or standalone, with bulk discounts of up to seven percent against posted prices. Fuel is usually the largest line on the invoice, which makes it the one worth settling before departure rather than after. See fuel service.
Aircraft Management
Day-to-day oversight for owners who would rather fly than administrate. Trip planning, flight risk analysis, international handling, fuel planning, expense tracking and consolidated invoicing, with the aircraft available for charter when the owner is not using it. See aircraft management.
How It Runs
What actually happens between your message and the landing
Both sides of the desk run to the same rhythm: confirm the mission, clear the ground, watch the flight, reconcile the cost. The difference is who owns the aircraft.
A charter, step by step
You send the routing, the dates, the passenger count and the luggage. Within sixty minutes you get an all-in quote for an aircraft sourced from a vetted Part 135 operator or its foreign equivalent, not from a house fleet, so the type is chosen for the sector rather than the sector bent to fit a type. The quote covers the aircraft and crew, fuel, landing and handling fees, catering and taxes; positioning, crew overnights and de-icing are itemised where they apply, never buried. Once confirmed, the same desk files the permits on international legs, books the handling and the catering, and watches the flight until it lands. If the aircraft goes technical or the weather closes the destination, the trip support side handles the alternate and the recovery aircraft.
Trip support, leg by leg
You send the aircraft documents, the crew, the passenger list and the schedule. The desk files the overflight and landing permits for every country on the routing, books the slots and the handling, arranges fuel through digital releases with no card required, files eAPIS and the customs paperwork, and builds the operational flight plan package in the format your pilots prefer: weather, NOTAMs, the ICAO plan, charts, GenDec and trip sheet. Flight watch runs while the aircraft is airborne. Ground handling is passed through at cost with zero markup, and the trip is estimated before departure rather than reconciled after. Forty-eight to seventy-two hours covers most trips; routings across several African or Asian FIRs are safer with five to seven days.
The Desk
Where the work is done, and by whom
Icarus Jet is a pilot-founded, ARGUS-registered broker and trip support company, a member of the NBAA and the Air Charter Association, operating since 2011. The desk is staffed around the clock from Dallas, Dubai and London, which puts a duty officer in a working time zone for almost any departure and gives the permit team direct relationships with the authorities it files with most: the GACA in Saudi Arabia, the GCAA in the UAE, the Egyptian and Kenyan civil aviation authorities, the HCAA in Greece, and the slot coordinators at the London fields.
The same people write the Aviation Library. The airport guides, route guides and trip support hubs on this site are the desk's own working reference, reviewed by the founder and dated, and the numbers on this page, the airports, the flights, the on-time rate, come from the operations record rather than a marketing estimate. When a rule changes, a permit lead time moves or an airport closes a runway, the guide is updated and the desk is already working to the new figure.
What the desk needs to start is short: the routing and the dates, the aircraft if you operate one, and the passenger count. From there it comes back with a number you can hold it to, and a named person on the trip from the first message to the last leg.
