Not after sunset. The helicopter cannot cross that evening, because helicopters on the Greek islands operate sunrise to sunset and this is a 30 minute sea crossing. With no fast ferry to fall back on, the desk plans around the arrival time: an earlier connection, or a night on Mykonos and a morning lift to Skala.

Light luggage on a single-engine helicopter and more on a twin-engine, but less than on the short Cyclades hops, because the fuel for 30 minutes over water comes out of the payload.
