Mykonos international airport serves the Island of Mykonos, and it is located 4 miles from the town of Mykonos. One of the busiest island airports in the Greek Islands, Mykonos airport is a SLOT coordinated airport. It becomes a major party destination to the likes of Ibiza and other popular destinations in Europe. During the summer seasons, any overnight parking for general aviation aircraft is prohibited, and they are only allowed 2 hours ground stop. The closest alternative to overnight then is at the Athens airport.
