History of Sharjah International Airport

Sharjah international airport was Inaugurated on the 1st of January 1977. Sharjah International Airport was constructed to replace the RAF Sharjah airport which was closer to the city of Sharjah. Air Arabia, the low-cost carrier, is the leading airline that operates from Sharjah International Airport.

Sharjah International Airport Terminals

Sharjah International Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 serves the airline traffic, and Terminal 2 and 3 serve the cargo airlines. The airport has supervising agents that serve General aviation and private jet traffic.
