History of Syros Airport

Since the initiation of the Syros “Dimitrios Vikelas” Airport for civilian travel in 1991, it has scheduled regular flights for the country’s capital, Athens. Support of domestic private jets and airplanes falls within the principal duties of the Syros Airport. Hermoupolis and Ermoupoli are the predominant destinations for passengers flying through Syros Airport, both of which are only 2 Kms away.

Syros Airport Terminals

A single passenger terminal is supported by Syros Airport. It also offers competent handling and maintenance services for private jets and aircrafts, including Skyserv Handling, Goldair Handling and Olympic Airways S.A. These FBOs ensure jet accommodation for smooth flights.
