Founded in 1973, Tripoli Airport is an airbase, primarily utilized by the military. Based 2-3 Km northeast of the nearest town, the Tripoli runway is infamous for operating as a track for motorcycles during drugster races. It also acts as the root of Arcadia Aeroclubs.
