Cairo is the capital and largest city of Egypt. The city’s metropolitan area is the largest in the Middle East and the Arab world, and the 15th-largest in the world, and is associated with ancient Egypt, as the famous Giza Pyramid Complex and the ancient city of Memphis are located in its geographical area.

With a population of 6.76 million spread over 453 square kilometers Cairo is by far the largest city in Egypt, with an additional 9.5 million inhabitants living in close proximity to the city

Cairo and the surrounding region are encompassed with many ancient and historical structures, and is a must visit for anyone with a passion for adventure and history. Situated right next to Cairo is the home of one of the seven wonders of the world – the Pyramids of Giza. Along with the Sphinx, visiting the Pyramids will leave any visitor in awe and amazement.

Cairo also features stunning beaches, vibrant marketplaces, and an entertaining nightlife. A short trip down to Luxor and you can visit the infamous Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of Rameses II and Tutankhamen were discovered. Or maybe you feel like a trip to the Red Sea. A short flight and you will find yourself in one of the many resort towns such as El Gouna or Sharm El Sheik where you will discover some of the most beautiful and exquisite marine life in the world along with the best diving and snorkeling locals in the world.
