Where can you fly privately from Zurich?
Zurich is the Swiss desk, the base for the banking sectors, the Riviera summer and the transatlantic run to New York. Three fields within fifty miles when Zurich is full: Dubendorf, LSMD, the military field east of the city that takes approved business aviation; Buochs, LSZC, on Lake Lucerne for central Switzerland; and Basel Mulhouse, LFSB, the EuroAirport an hour north west with its own business aviation terminal.
Davos, St Moritz and the mountains
During the World Economic Forum the whole private fleet funnels through Zurich and the ramp runs out of space, so Davos week is booked months ahead with parking confirmed or a repositioning priced in. Samedan for St Moritz is a jet field at about 5,600 feet; Interlaken, Andermatt and Lucerne are helicopter transfers from the Zurich ramp.

The light jet to London is the most requested Zurich sector, followed by Paris, Milan and Geneva.
