History of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport

Ras Al Khaimah Airport was Inaugurated in 1976 and was the vision of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qasimi who wanted RAK airport to be one of the most well-connected Airport in the world. But those plans never materialized, and due to the economic circumstances of 2007 and 2011, the only Airline operating out of Ras Al Khaimah airport seized operation. Air Arabia is the leading airline operation of RAK airport.

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Terminals

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has two terminal buildings. Terminal 1, and Terminal 2 serves airline traffic and cargo traffic. The airport has supervising agents that serve General aviation and private jet traffic.
