Dassault Falcon 2000 specifications
Figures are for the Falcon 2000LXS (Dassault).
Where it fits
Large cabin range from a shorter runway
The figures here are for the Falcon 2000LXS, which Dassault launched in 2012, certified in 2013 and still offers. Its published range is 4,000 NM at Mach 0.80 on NBAA IFR reserves, and Dassault cites Dubai to London City and Beijing to Mumbai among its nonstop missions.
The cabin is 26 feet 2 inches long excluding the flight deck and baggage, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 7 feet 8 inches wide, arranged in two seating zones for up to ten passengers. Behind it sits a 130 cubic foot baggage compartment.
Its balanced field length is 4,675 feet at maximum weight, against the 5,750 feet the earlier 2000LX needed for the same 4,000 NM. Dassault says close to 700 Falcon 2000 series aircraft are in service across all variants, so the desk confirms exactly which one an operator is offering.
Parties of more than ten, since the cabin tops out at ten seats. Watch the variant too: the Falcon 2000S shares the cabin but flies 3,350 NM. For eleven or more, the Falcon 900LX (certified to 19, with a 33 foot cabin) is the better tool.
Missions
What the desk books it for
The Gulf to London
Dubai to London City is one of the nonstops Dassault cites. Dubai to London is 2,978 NM on our route guide, and Riyadh to London is 2,675 NM.
Transatlantic from New York
Dassault cites New York to Berlin nonstop for the 2000LXS. The desk plans the wind and the passenger load on the day before it quotes.
Steep approach airports
Dassault highlights operations at London City and Lugano. The desk confirms the specific aircraft and crew hold the approval before a quote goes out.
Los Angeles to Hawaii
Over 2,200 NM of open water, flown nonstop inside a range figure already calculated on NBAA IFR reserves.

Cabin and baggage
Two zones, ten seats, six feet two
Dassault measures the 2000LXS cabin at 26 feet 2 inches long excluding the flight deck and baggage, 7 feet 8 inches wide and 6 feet 2 inches tall, for a volume of 1,024 cubic feet. It is laid out in two seating zones, and most passengers stand upright in it.
Dassault lists eight to ten passengers. Its published range is quoted with six passengers on one Dassault site and eight on the other, both at 4,000 NM, so a full cabin of ten is the load the desk checks most carefully on long sectors.
The baggage compartment holds 130 cubic feet. Dassault's figures do not say whether it is reachable in flight, so tell the desk the bag count, golf bags and skis when you enquire and the operator confirms the hold before the aircraft is offered.
Performance and airports
Runways, climb and the airports it opens
Dassault publishes a balanced field length of 4,675 feet at maximum weight at sea level on a standard day, and a landing distance of 2,260 feet with six passengers. It climbs directly to 41,000 feet in 20 minutes, is certified to 47,000 feet and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.86.
Dassault highlights steep approach operations at London City and Lugano. The desk confirms the specific aircraft and crew are approved, and checks the runway at executive airports such as Teterboro and Biggin Hill against the weight of the actual trip.
High and hot fields change the answer. At Aspen, the runway length available on the day depends on elevation, temperature and weight, and the desk checks it for the specific aircraft before a quote goes out.

Falcon 2000 against the other large cabin
How the Falcon 2000 lines up against the other large cabin jets we cover. The Falcon 900 and G450 fly further and are certified for more seats, and the Legacy 600 and 650 carry more baggage; the 2000LXS's case is 4,000 NM from the shortest published takeoff distance in the group.

Chartering with Icarus Jet
How we charter the Falcon 2000
We source Falcon 2000s from ARGUS-audited and Wyvern-certified operators, and the operator's name, audit status and exact variant are on the quote. The desk checks range against the real routing and baggage against the real party before it checks availability, so the aircraft offered is one that genuinely fits the trip.
Quotes are all-in and itemised: aircraft and crew, positioning, landing and handling, fuel and taxes, with nothing added after the flight that was not on the page. The number depends on where the nearest suitable aircraft is based, the dates and the airports, which is why we price your actual trip rather than publish a rate.
Questions
Falcon 2000 questions the desk gets
How far can a Falcon 2000 fly nonstop?
Dassault publishes 4,000 NM for the Falcon 2000LXS at Mach 0.80 on NBAA IFR reserves. That covers the Gulf to London and Los Angeles to Hawaii, and Dassault cites New York to Berlin. The 2000S sibling flies 3,350 NM, and winds, temperature and weight decide the real figure on the day.
How many passengers does a Falcon 2000 seat?
Dassault lists eight to ten passengers for the 2000LXS, in two seating zones. For parties of eleven or more, the desk will quote a larger aircraft such as the Falcon 900LX.
Can you stand up in the cabin?
Yes. The cabin is 6 feet 2 inches tall, 7 feet 8 inches wide and 26 feet 2 inches long excluding the flight deck and baggage, so most passengers stand upright and walk the length of it.
How much luggage fits on a Falcon 2000?
The 2000LXS baggage compartment holds 130 cubic feet. Tell the desk about golf bags, skis or equipment cases when you enquire, so the hold is planned before the aircraft is offered.
What is the difference between the Falcon 2000LXS, 2000LX and 2000S?
The 2000LX flew the same 4,000 NM but needed 5,750 feet for takeoff, against 4,675 feet for the 2000LXS. The 2000S has the same cabin with a shorter range of 3,350 NM. The desk puts the exact variant on the quote and plans the trip for that aircraft.
Can a Falcon 2000 fly into London City?
Dassault highlights 2000LXS operations at steep approach airports such as London City and Lugano. Approval also depends on the operator and crew, so the desk confirms both for the specific aircraft before it quotes.
How fast is the Falcon 2000?
Typical cruise for the 2000LXS is Mach 0.80, with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.86. It climbs directly to 41,000 feet in 20 minutes and is certified to 47,000 feet.
