The Praetor 600 publishes a range of 4,018 NM with four passengers at long-range cruise, and 3,719 NM at Mach 0.80. That is further than any other super midsize jet in our guides, which puts sectors in reach that usually call for a larger aircraft.
The cabin is six feet tall and six feet ten inches wide on a flat floor, with 155 cubic feet of baggage including an external bay about eight feet long. Full fly-by-wire with Active Turbulence Reduction gives a smoother ride, and cabin altitude is 5,800 feet at 45,000 feet.
Embraer built it as a design change to the Legacy 500 that adds range, and delivered the first in June 2019. It is still in production; the Praetor 600E, announced in February 2026, keeps the airframe and range with a revised cabin, with deliveries for new orders from 2029.
Parties of more than twelve, or groups whose luggage outgrows 155 cubic feet. Its range is also quoted with four passengers, so a full cabin on the longest legs can mean a fuel stop. For a bigger party and far more baggage, a large cabin aircraft such as the Legacy 650 is the better tool.

The cabin is 27 feet 6 inches long (an Aviation Week figure; Embraer publishes no length), 6 feet 10 inches wide and 6 feet tall, on a flat floor. Embraer lists eight seats as typical and up to twelve passengers.
A private lavatory at the rear has a vacuum toilet, with a belted lavatory as an option. Cabin altitude is 5,800 feet at the 45,000 foot ceiling, and Active Turbulence Reduction works through the fly-by-wire controls for a smoother ride.
Baggage totals 155 cubic feet: a 110 cubic foot external bay about 8 feet long, which takes skis and golf bags, plus an internal compartment reachable in flight. Tell the desk the bag count when you enquire, so the hold is planned before the aircraft is offered.

Embraer publishes a takeoff distance of 4,717 feet at maximum weight at sea level on a standard day, and an unfactored landing distance of 2,165 feet with four passengers. It is certified to 45,000 feet, with a high-speed cruise of 466 knots and a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.83.
