The Network
Private jet charter destinations, explained
Each destination hub is a working reference for one city: the airports that serve it and how to choose between them, the routes we fly most, the aircraft that fit those sectors, and the season that shapes demand. They are written by the team that plans these flights daily, for the person deciding how to get there. The hubs carry the operational detail; our private jet charter desk arranges the flights themselves, worldwide, around the clock.
What sits inside a destination hub?
Each hub opens with the airports. London has six we operate through and Dallas has four, and choosing between them turns on slot availability, curfews and how close you need to be on the ground. From there it covers the routes flown most from that city and the aircraft that fit them, from light jets on regional sectors through super midsize to large-cabin aircraft flying intercontinental.
Pricing sits on the charter cost page, and empty leg flights can cut 30 to 75% when your dates move. Larger parties travel on airliner-type aircraft through group charter.
What do we handle on the ground?
Icarus Jet is a trip support company as well as a charter broker, so the ground side is arranged in house rather than subcontracted out. Flight permits on international legs, ground handling, jet fuel and flight planning, through a trip support desk staffed around the clock.
That is why the airport guides carry parking restrictions, curfews and handling detail rather than opening hours. For island transfers and short sectors, helicopter charter covers Greece, Nice, Italy and Kenya.

FAQ about our destinations
Which destinations does Icarus Jet cover?
We publish detailed destination hubs for 19 cities and regions across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, each with its airports, routes and aircraft options. We arrange charters worldwide, so the hubs are where we publish the most detail rather than a limit on where we fly.
What is a destination hub?
A hub page covers one city or region in operational detail: which airports serve it, the routes we fly most from it, the aircraft that suit those sectors, and the seasonal pattern of demand. It is written for someone deciding how to fly there, not as a travel brochure.
A city has several airports. Which one should I use?
It depends on aircraft size, slot availability, curfews and how close you need to be to your destination. London has six airports we operate through and Dallas has four, and the right choice differs by trip. Each airport guide covers handling, parking and curfew detail, and our desk will recommend one with your routing in hand.
Do you arrange helicopter transfers as well as jets?
Yes. Most helicopter demand sits in the Greek islands, where a transfer from Athens to Mykonos or Santorini saves hours against a ferry. We also arrange helicopter charter in Nice, Italy and Kenya.
Is trip support included at these airports?
Icarus Jet is a trip support company as well as a charter broker, so flight permits, ground handling, fuel and flight planning are arranged in house rather than subcontracted. That is why the airport guides carry operational detail such as parking restrictions and curfews.
Can you quote a route that is not listed?
Yes. Send the routing, date and party size and we come back with aircraft options and an all-in price within 60 minutes. Unlisted routes are quoted the same way as listed ones.
Do I need permits for an international private jet charter?
Yes. International legs need overflight and landing permits, and some airports add slot or PPR approvals on top. Our in-house trip support desk arranges permits, slots, handling and fuel as part of the charter.
What about slot-restricted or curfew airports?
Airports such as Mykonos in season and Nice run slot coordination, parking limits and night restrictions. We plan slots, parking and repositioning around your schedule, and each destination hub carries the operational detail.
Can the aircraft park at the destination airport?
Not always. In peak season, airports such as Athens and Nice limit long-term parking, so aircraft drop passengers and reposition to a nearby field. The repositioning is planned into the quote, so it never touches your schedule.
How far in advance should I book a charter?
As early as your dates allow in peak season, when the most requested aircraft go first. Short-notice requests are still quoted within 60 minutes, around the clock.
